Therapy
Yoga, by itself, has the potential to transform one’s life in so many ways. Here, we use Yoga as a shorthand for trio physical asanas, pranayama and meditation.
Asanas can increase your overall flexibility and stamina, and makes the bones stronger.
Pranayama and meditation help focus and center your ‘self’, decrease your stress levels through hormone secretion and increase your overall feeling of well being.
Essentially, Yoga leads to optimum functioning of all the systems of our body. Given these beneficial properties, treating yoga as merely a form of exercise would be grossly negligent. Yoga - as therapy can be used both as as an alternative to other forms of treatment and to complement other forms of conventional therapies like Ayurveda & Allopathic treatment and medicines.
All of this is not just handwaving or platitudes. Our team, consisting of practicing doctors has spent more than 10 man years studying the scientific links between human anatomy and effectiveness of Yoga as therapy. We have then spent the last 5 years putting it into practice.
We use Yoga Therapy for :
Anxiety, depression, stress release
Prenatal & post natal yoga
All types of joint issues like arthritis, spondylitis

Do we believe Yoga only applies to treatments - Absolutely not ! It is as effective in preventing all of the above.
